About the event
Jerry's first association with this magnificent building was in the early 70s, as the legendary Third Eye Centre. This, and the nearby McLellan Galleries were places of shelter on a weekend afternoon while he waited on the pubs to reopen. Little did he imagine that 30 years later he would be regularly in the building working with fellow, would -be playrights and screenwriters. Then, 10 years after that, he would be writing a book involving some of the artists who displayed their work to him all those years ago.
Tonight we'll be chatting about the people in 12 Remarkable Scots, my six men and six women of a very diverse age range and eras, c1300 to present day.
